About Beacon

Beacon is a free, English-language publication: five lanes of writing, no advertising and no sign-up.

What Beacon publishes

Five lanes, and nothing else. Every post sits in one of them.

• Finance — Personal finance, saving, and investing
• News — Current events, explained rather than reported
• Health — Health and stress management
• Spirituality — Practice, reflection, and the inner life
• Tech — Technical development news and explainers

Who it is for

For the reader who has to make sense of something - a number that does not add up, a change in the news, a body that will not settle, a practice to sit down with, or a tool worth understanding. The writing is explained rather than reported, and it is free to read.
